“For though the righteous fall seven times, they get back up again.”
Proverbs 24:16
Tripped, I did, I fell and then,
I got back up again.
Once more, I hit the floor,
Scraped my knees, and then,
I got back up again.
Tried to walk, and even run,
But gravity worked its charm.
You’ll never guess what I did next,
I got back up again!
How many times must I bite the dust
Before I learn to walk?
Once, twice, would be nice,
But for me it’s five times more.
Defeat and quit might save me skin,
But that is not the answer.
No matter how many times you fall,
Get back up again!
