Joseph’s “Grape” Attitude!

Do you have a “grape” attitude? Attitude makes all the difference, especially when you’re going through a hard time. Joseph is an amazing example of one who kept his eyes on God even while in the pit and the prison. Read what he said to his brothers who tried to kill him and sold him into slavery.

“You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

Isn’t this powerful?! How does kindness and love, mercy and grace become cultivated in the heart of one treated so wickedly? How does this attitude of complete forgiveness and compassion, comfort and kindness come out of the heart of one so horribly disregarded? It comes by remembering the grape! Joseph never lost sight of his relationship with God, or of his unwavering conviction of God’s goodness and good purposes toward him.

“We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
