Bringing It All Together!

The Scriptures state clearly that God determines when and where people live. This isn’t arbitrary—it’s part of His plan to prompt us to seek Him. Our circumstances aren’t accidental; God uses them to draw us closer to Him.

What is God doing in your life? We often experience moments that reveal God’s work in our lives. Treasuring and pondering them helps us recognize His presence, understand His direction, and align ourselves with His purpose. We should take time to reflect on how God is working in our lives so that we can participate in what God is doing.

We should always be growing in wisdom, in maturity, and in God’s grace. Jesus did. Much of Christ’s life is characterized by growth and preparation. The Bible doesn’t really say that much about the growing years. Spiritual formation and growth often happen in obscurity and hiddenness. We should be careful not to rush God’s work in our lives. Life is characterized by seasons of preparation, temptation, and participation. The key is to understand what God is doing in the defining seasons of your life.

“Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.”

―Luke 2:19
